St Kitts & Nevis CBI Unit created the SGF investment option in April 2018. The new fund aims to enhance the economic landscape of St. Kitts and Nevis, and through donating a non-refundable contribution to this fund applicants can obtain a St. Kitts and Nevis passport.

The SGF is open for donations with the following thresholds:

  • $150,000:Β Single applicant
  • $195,000:Β Family of Four Option (Main applicant with up to three dependents)
  • $25,000:Β Spouse
  • $20,000:Β Sibling
  • $10,000:Β Each additional family member or dependent other than siblings who maintain aΒ $20,000Β requirement.

B) Real Estate Investments

St Kitts and Nevis CBI program offers two different investment levels for the real estate purchasing option. The difference being the minimum holding period requirement and price are as shown below:

  1. Seven-year hold period:Β investors can make a minimum investment ofΒ $200,000Β towards a government-approved luxury resort project. The investor must hold the property for a minimum of seven years, once the minimum hold period passes, the investor can resell the property.
  2. Five-year hold period:Β investors may also purchase a government-approved property valued atΒ $400,000Β or purchase shares valued at the same amount in a resort. The investor must hold the property for a minimum of five years. When the minimum hold period passes, the investor has the option to resell the property.

For either real estate option, investors need government fees as shown below:

  • $35,050Β (Main applicant);
  • $20,050Β (Spouse of the main applicant);
  • $10,050 (Other qualified dependents).
