U.S. Visa Requirements

Citizens of Antigua and Barbuda can obtain a B1/B2 visa to the United States. The B1/B2 visa is a temporary document that allows holders to travel to the U.S. for business and tourism purposes. The applicant is required to be present when applying, which means that visa-free travel to the U.S. is not possible for citizens of Antigua and Barbuda.

Documents for B1/B2 Visa:

• Visa Application Form: Completed online via the DS-160 website.

• Passport: Valid passport, including a second passport (if applicable).
• Photo: Photo taken no more than 6 months ago.
• Appointment Confirmation: Printed barcode received after submitting the DS-160 form.
• Current Details:
• For employed individuals: Tax returns, original pay slips, current bank statement (no older than 6 months), and a letter from the employer.
• For self-employed individuals: Tax returns, a copy of the business license, and a current bank statement (no older than 6 months).
• For retired individuals: Proof of the retirement fund.
• For students: No Objection Certificate from the school or university and an official letter confirming registration for the upcoming semester.
• Travel Itinerary
• Proof of Financial Means: Tax records, personal bank statements, and pay slips from the employer.
• Cover Letter
• Financial Documents: Such as mutual fund documents, property papers, etc.
• Proof of Return

Canada Visa Requirements

To visit Canada, citizens of Antigua and Barbuda need a tourist visa.

Documents for Canadian Visa:

• Visa Application Form: Completed online.
• Valid Passport

• For employed individuals: A letter from the current employer.

Please note that new conditions for obtaining citizenship by investment will come into effect on August 1, 2024:

  • $260,000 for the "family option" with the University of the West Indies.
  • $230,000 contribution to the government fund.

Introduction of an Alternative Primary Applicant:
